Hello everyone! I’m Garry Mharakurwa, a dedicated online educator with over five years of experience in fostering a love for learning among diverse students. My journey in teaching began in the classroom and has evolved into a virtual space where I focus on English language development. I believe in tailoring dynamic instruction to meet the unique needs of each student, ensuring that they feel supported and engaged in their learning journey. My teaching philosophy revolves around creating a positive and interactive virtual classroom environment, where technology enhances both student engagement and comprehension. I’m committed to making learning accessible and enjoyable. I’ve developed comprehensive lesson plans that have resulted in significant improvements in students’ reading and comprehension skills. Building strong, trusting relationships with students and parents is essential to me, as it fosters a supportive learning community. In addition to my teaching experience, I hold a Master's degree in Accounting, diploma in Education and am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Education in Inclusive Education. I completed a 120-hour TEFL certification to further enhance my English teaching skills. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy engaging in online professional development and volunteering at the SPCA, where I continue to develop my communication skills in a multicultural setting. I’m excited to connect with students on ClassGap and inspire their learning journey.
