Hello! I am Amy, a Chinese teacher. I hold a Bachelor of Management from Western China University and a Master of Management from Assumption University. I am currently pursuing a PhD at the National University of Malaysia. I have more than 5 years of experience working in universities.
As a native Chinese speaker, I have been immersed in the beauty of Chinese characters and the charm of culture since I was young - from the "Guanguanjujiu" in the Book of Songs to the "Dajiangdongqu" in Tang poetry, from the horizontal, vertical, left and right strokes in calligraphy class to the tie-dyeing skills in the intangible cultural heritage experience, the roots of language and culture have long been deeply rooted in my heart. This immersion not only gave me a solid language foundation, but also cultivated my keen perception of cultural details, so that I can naturally convey the "warmth between the lines" in teaching.
In my university student work, I have been connecting with foreign international students. I have learned to understand the learning needs of people from different cultural backgrounds from a more inclusive perspective. International Chinese education is a mission and a passion for me. With the confidence of a native speaker, the ingenuity of an educator, and the enthusiasm of a cultural communicator, I would like to become a "living dictionary" and "close friend" for students to understand China, so that the beauty of Chinese and the charm of culture can transcend mountains and seas and take root in more hearts.
