I have a degree in Hospitality and Tourism. I have been teaching English and Spanish to young and adult students for three years. The subject I teach is Food, Beverage, and Banquets (F&B). This subject is important because this department is crucial to guest satisfaction and their overall experience in a hotel. It requires effective management and constant attention to ensure high-quality and excellent service.
I am passionate about what I do, and above all, I truly enjoy seeing my students progress in the language. I like my classes to be dynamic and fun, learning especially through music. That is something that sets me apart from other teachers. It doesn’t matter how old you are—what matters is the desire to learn and to grow in the language, overcoming the fear of making mistakes. Sometimes we don’t want to make mistakes, but in my lessons, you’ll gain the confidence to express yourself more and more in the language.
My Methodology
Listening to music or audiobooks in the target language
Becoming familiar with the culture of the countries where the language is spoken
Working with book excerpts, videos, TV series, dictionaries, music, and songs
Learning about topics of personal interest
Focusing on vocabulary acquisition
In my classes, we will also work on the four language skills: reading, listening comprehension, speaking, and writing, which are also essential when it comes to structuring the language.
