👋 Hi, I’m Erik from Taiwan, and I’m a bag designer. 🏕️ I love learning new things and trying different cultures. I enjoy surfing, hiking, and camping. Right now, I live in Berlin, Germany, where I’m learning German. 🙋‍♂️ I’m a patient teacher and like to guide students through conversations, helping them learn while talking. Since I’ve learned English and German, I understand the challenges of learning a language. I’ll do my best to help you reach your goals, and seeing my students improve makes me happy. 💪 From my experience, the best way to learn is by speaking. Speaking practice is much more effective than learning on your own! In class, I’ll use key vocabulary and sentence patterns, and we’ll discuss different topics. This way, practice feels more like real-life situations, so you’ll be more confident using the language when you need it. 😁 My teaching style is relaxed and friendly. I want students to feel like they’re chatting with a friend. By talking about your personal experiences, you’ll understand different Chinese sentence patterns better. Connecting your life with the language is an easy way to remember words and sentences. 📖 I’ve worked as a Chinese tutor in Taipei, joined language exchange groups, and taught English at an elementary school. This has helped me learn how to use conversation to help students understand different ways of speaking. ☕️ I’ve also been a Starbucks barista and a leather craftsman 🧳, and I love surfing 🏄‍♂️, hiking 🏕️, and camping.
