I am a qualified Mathematics Teacher from the UK. I have 4 years of classroom teaching experience. I gained my PGCE Mathematics Teaching qualification from King's College London and my undergraduate degree was (2:1) Chemistry BSc (Hons) from University of Manchester. My aim is to reduce the anxiety that students often face when they are learning maths. I always break down questions into small enough chunks to help questions seem less daunting and more accessible. I specialise in helping students with specific learning difficulties. Having dyslexia myself means I understand and empathise with the struggles that students face, in addition I have practical tips and tricks that can help them. Such as strategies for laying out your maths work to reduce the likelihood of errors. Regardless of where you need help in your Maths, I aim to have you leave a tutor session feeling more confident than when you arrived. Don’t hesitate to send a lesson request!
