About me

I graduated from Cornell University on a full merit scholarship in 1998 and have been an active IB educator since 2014, teaching at top private schools in Plovdiv and spending three years at ES School in Barcelona delivering the American high school curriculum. I offer expert IB Mathematics AA/AI (SL and HL) tutoring. My teaching philosophy combines an easygoing, engaging approach with deep, conceptual rigor. I view mathematics as more than formulas: it is a discipline that teaches us to recognize our mistakes, build resilience, and persevere through complex challenges. Having traveled extensively around the world, I bring a broad global perspective and a philosophical, entertaining style to every lesson. Whether you need targeted exam preparation, support with your Internal Assessment (IA), or a stronger intuitive grasp of advanced mathematical concepts, I provide a structured, highly personalized, and inspiring learning experience.
