Hi! My name is Dasha, I'm a certified teacher of Russian as a foreign language with over 20 years of experience. I'm from Saint-Petersburg and have been living in Brussels since 2016. I love helping learners discover how logical, expressive, and beautiful Russian can be. Outside of teaching, I enjoy creating online courses, writing language guides, travel, learn new languages and spending time with my family. Teaching Russian is not just my job – it’s my passion, and I’m happy to share it with you! I’m a certified teacher of Russian as a foreign language with a PhD in teaching methodology, a Master’s degree in Cultural Linguistics and a Bachelor’s in Russian Philology. I’ve been teaching Russian for over 20 years - both online and in international classrooms - to students of all levels and backgrounds. My methodology combines structure and flexibility. I focus on clear explanations, step-by-step grammar practice, and meaningful communication from the very first lesson. I use visual materials, videos, and interactive exercises to make learning engaging and effective. Since 2019, I’ve been teaching online, designing my own digital courses and materials for beginners and intermediate learners. I also create listening and reading resources for higher-level students. I also prepare for the TORFL and TELC exams. Most importantly, I love teaching and strive to help my students reach their full potential!
