"A different language is a different vision of life"
Dear future student.
Welcome to this great learning path. My name is Margarita, I am 24 years old and I am a legal psychologist, child pedagogy student and a master's student in community psychology and psychosocial intervention.
I am Colombian, so my native language is Spanish, although I have a C1 level in English. I have experience working with different populations.
My interests?
I have dedicated part of my life to traveling the world. I really enjoy getting to know new cultures and countries. I like to discover new forms of art all the time, so I listen to music of all kinds (although my favorites are jazz and flamenco), I am passionate about literature and poetry and I love spending time with my family.
Although I am a teacher and psychologist, I have done different things throughout my life.
My experience in education?
- I have 3 years of experience teaching Spanish and English to adults for different purposes (tourism, work, hobby)
- I have 5 years of experience working as a teacher in different schools focusing on reinforcement, Spanish, English, communication, among others.
My teaching methods?
The student is the pillar of the class, that is why we dedicate the first class to:
-Establish objectives together (identify what level we want to reach, the purpose, the time in which we want to reach that level)
- Discuss topics of interest. There is nothing better than learning from what we enjoy, so we will talk about what you are passionate about, what you are looking for, what you enjoy, and from there we will create educational material for the class.
- Identify the best teaching method. Although my classes are based on grammar and conversation content, the methods and materials used during them are 100% personalized according to your level and interests.
- Converse in Spanish as much as possible. There is no better way to learn a language than by speaking it.
my material?
- Activities during class
-Games
-Conversation
- Books
- Podcast
- Songs
- Films
I am an excellent option as a tutor because I am genuinely interested in the process of each student (not only academically), I have playful, fun, and varied tools for different objectives such as grammar, spelling, writing, vocabulary, conversation, accent, among others.
Looking forward to see you
