Hi there! My name is Damián Calle, a guitar and music theory teacher. In addition to teaching for 15 years, I am a music producer for artists from all over the world, which means that I am dedicated to recording instruments (guitars, bass, piano, keyboards), musical arrangements for multiple contemporary and symphonic formations, mixing and mastering. On the guitar I have specialized in flamenco for many years, and I have recorded and published an album of my own flamenco music. I have also studied, arranged, and recorded many other styles, which I handle with the same depth. Rock, Blues, Jazz, Funk, Argentine Folklore, Tango, Bossa nova, and a long etcetera. As a composer I have published 3 albums of my own music, one of which has been awarded an honorable mention in the most important competition in Argentina for popular music composers. Composer of music for animations, arranger. I have also been involved in teaching music theory in different conservatories and academies in Argentina, both in contemporary music and in academic music. I have been dedicated to researching the history of music theory and in this I have translated and published two harmony treatises by Jean-Philippe Rameau into Spanish. I have published research articles in musicology journals and given conferences both in Argentina and at the University of Paris (Sorbonne).
