My name is Conchi,

I am a Child and Adolescent and Family Pedagogue, specializing in learning difficulties and holding a Master's degree in Speech Therapy Intervention from the University of Valencia.

My methodology is based on learning school subjects in a more dynamic, practical and inquiry-based way (through projects, conflict resolution and games).

I place great importance on organization and planning. Therefore, I try to teach my students step-by-step how to use different study techniques (outlines, summaries, concept maps, etc.) in the most dynamic way possible. I always take into account each child's or teenager's individual pace (vocabulary difficulties, memory, attention, motivation, etc.).

I pursue the following objectives:
- To provide tools to overcome learning difficulties.
- To boost motivation.
- Acquire work habits and study techniques
- To overcome their difficulties and face their academic challenges.
- To strengthen self-esteem and tolerance for frustration.
- To promote individual work, cooperative work and teamwork.
- Acquire the basic skills of the different subjects.

I consider motivation and attention to be two essential pillars for enhancing learning.

Additionally, I prioritize organization, as it is fundamental to optimizing study and its results. Furthermore, I help, guide, and motivate them to improve their study habits and use effective study techniques (which, in my experience, yield excellent results in both the short and long term). These techniques help them gradually internalize their learning in a more visual, efficient, and meaningful way.

I also follow up with the family and the school (if possible).

In addition, I provide sessions focused on language and communication stimulation (phonological awareness, reading, symbolic play), social skills, executive functions, attention, motivation, Theory of Mind, autonomy, and educational guidance.

During the last few years I have worked with children and adolescents with various learning difficulties (ADHD, dysorthography, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, dyslexia) and with Communication, Speech and Language disorders.

I have been a tutor for teenagers taking the entrance exam for intermediate and higher vocational training.

Additionally, I lead workshops on various topics (emotions, social skills, adolescence, planning and organization, awareness) for parents, children, and teenagers. It is essential that families are aware of the different challenges their children face.

I also conduct career guidance sessions for teenagers and adults.
