Hello, I'm Faith, I have a degree in Chemistry Education from the University of Nigeria. I have over six years of experience teaching mathematics in a classroom setting and online. I have experience giving online lessons to pre-elementary, elementary, and middle school students ( Pre- K, grades 1 - 6) on any topic in mathematics. Over the years as a teacher, I came across a lot of students with different learning abilities and so I got to understand that every child has unique learning abilities and skills. I always have this in mind. I am passionate about teaching. I love teaching children a lot. I am patient, understanding, and communicate creatively. I am very aware that learning is not an easy task and so I always make effort to motivate my students. My teaching approach varies according to the needs of my students. I love to use lots of pictures and examples to drive home my lessons. I also allow my students to bring in their ideas, making the lesson interactive and fun. I incorporate videos and games into my lessons when possible to make lessons interesting and fun. I give my students opportunities to learn at their own pace, with no rushing, and no pressure. I have successful records of helping students raise their grades. I have also organized classes for students who were not doing well in math which was productive at the end of the year and prepared students for SAT exams. My hobbies are singing, traveling,and telling stories. My priority has always been the success of my students. I will be happy to help you achieve your goal.
