Hello! I’m Cheryl from England. I teach authentic English. I was an English teacher in Asia for 11 years but now I live in England and connect with students online. My bachelor’s degree is in Music with Vocal Teaching and I have TESOL and TEFL certificates. I have taught English for business, travel, academics, exams, immigration, health professions, interviews, sports, art, family life and much more. I am a very friendly and patient teacher who loves conversation and hates wasting life. You have many options in class. We can work on pronunciation, fluency, grammar, vocabulary or expressions for work. I like to use videos, articles and my own experience to help students understand English in real contexts and train them to think in English. ABOUT ME As for my interests, I love learning, singing, being active outdoors and being creative. Ask me about my favourite places in the UK and other countries. I always want to do my part to bring more peace to the world. My personal life experiences also inform my teaching. I know a lot about volunteering and charity work, as well as expat life and cross-cultural communication. I also have experience learning Thai and Korean.
