My name is Cecilia, I studied Arabic and Spanish in the University of Turin and I have a degree in Translation in the aforementioned languages. I have been working as a teacher for more than 4 years, both online and face-to-face. My students come from any part of the world and have any level of Italian. I’ve attended various training courses, I have a C1 DELE certificate and I am currently studying to get the DITALS certification for teaching Italian as a foreign language. I have lived in Spain, United Kingdom and some middle-eastern countries to improve my language skills. These experiences help me in my everyday job: as I have been a language student myself, I am aware of what we need when we approach a new language and culture, so I always keep these aspects in mind during my lessons. For example, conversation and comprehension of oral and written texts are very important in my lessons, as I believe that a grammatical approach doesn’t allow the student to fully express themselves. I also consider important for any language learner the bond between language and culture, that is why I always include elements of Italian culture in my lessons. Lessons are customized according to the student’s need and level. All material is provided and included in the price.
