I once was a lawyer in environmental regulation and town planning. I then went wwoofing, and worked in an organic grocery shop while studying at the French Alliance 🙃
I now have my French-teaching certificate and have started teaching friends before signing up here. From now until I manage to make a full living with teaching, I'm working as a community manager for an energy-efficiency company.
2️⃣ What the classes are like
I'm aiming at making both our classes, and your homework as immersive as possible 🤿🐠
This goes through :
🦜 As much as daily conversation as possible. Of course, this gets easier and more feasible as you progress, yet you'll be surprised to see how much you can speak, even as a beginner !
Grammar and technical lessons only come as a tool to reinforce your daily practice needs.
Which implies :
📌 Grammar comes punctually :
* As much as needed : if you need a whole class on grammar explanations we'll take that time
* But only what's needed : we won't spend unnecessary extra time on it and we'll go back to concrete language immersion so that you can put that grammar into practice right away
🧩 Using a context that suits your needs :
* What do you want to learn French for ? At work, university / With your friends, family, other significant / While traveling ? Several of those ?
* What are your personal interests (topics) and what materials (read / watch / listen / write) do you want to practice with ?
3️⃣ What I bring to the table :

📝 Use of an online shared document to report our classes' summary and follow up on what we've worked on : learning goals, covered topics, exercices, and grammar lessons you can go back to anytime you want.
