Hi! I’m Brenda, an ESL teacher from Canada with a 150-hour TESOL certificate from Arizona State University. I’ve been teaching English online for 3.5 years, but I’ve spent most of my life teaching — in both dance and fitness, helping people grow in confidence and skill. I’ve worked with teenagers and adults worldwide, helping learners prepare for Cambridge and IELTS exams, build confidence for job interviews, and communicate effectively in business meetings and presentations. Every lesson is adapted to your personal goals, learning style, and pace. Having lived in Canada, England, and now Portugal, I know what it’s like to step into a new culture and language. I understand how communication changes across cultures — and how rewarding it feels when you can finally express yourself freely in English. I believe a good teacher is a guide.
