About me

Hello! My name is Ángeles. I was born in Venezuela, and I am a Spanish and English teacher. I have studied English since I was six years old, which allowed me to become bilingual and complete a two-year international programme taught entirely in English. During this programme, I also began teaching Spanish, which gave me the opportunity to develop my teaching skills in an international environment. Thanks to these experiences, I can teach you how to use the language in both academic contexts and everyday situations :) I have been teaching English and Spanish for two years, mainly to children and teenagers. I organise my lessons according to each student’s level, needs and goals. During the first lesson, we complete a short assessment to identify the student’s strengths and the areas they need to improve. My methodology combines clear grammar explanations, vocabulary organised by topic, and practical listening, reading and speaking activities. I also use exercises, games and quizzes to reinforce learning, improve retention and monitor progress. When a student needs to prepare for an exam, I adapt the lessons to its format, content and the specific skills they need to develop. My goal is to create a positive and comfortable environment where you can learn without being afraid of making mistakes, progress at your own pace and gain confidence when using the language.
