About me

Hi there, I am Andrea, certified English language teacher by TEFL.org (Teaching English as a Foreign Language), the most accredited TEFL course provider in the UK issuing qualifications recognised across the globe. I prepare and deliver lessons based on the TEFL Student Centered Approach which allows students to actively participate in their learning. In a student-centred lesson, the focus of the activity is the student. This means that learners are encouraged to participate in a series of tasks including speaking, listening, writing and more. Student-centred methods are widely believed to be far better to straightforward teacher-centred instruction. It helps short-term mastery, depth of understanding and long-term retention as it encourages the students not only to produce the language, but to understand how and why they are able to. Following a brief introduction in your native language, I will then carry out every lesson by the exclusive use of the English language to promote active learning and positive iteration. I am looking forward to seeing you progress and help you achieve your goals.
