About me

I tailor my lessons to each student's age and needs. When I teach children I often base them on arts and crafts. I aim to help them define the concepts and the words through the images we draw, the crafts we create, or the games we play. I focus on creativity to engage the younger students. When I teach teens or adults, I try to identify topics I know they might be interested in and build a lesson around them. Depending on their level of Spanish, I include the use of new vocabulary, explore an aspect of grammar they may not be familiar with or both. I like to use different writing styles for them to learn new words and encourage them to use these to become more fluent speakers.
