About me

Hi! I’m Aminu Khadijah, a qualified and experienced English teacher with a B.A. (Ed.) in English and an NCE in English/Yoruba. I have several years of experience teaching children and helping learners develop their English skills in a supportive and encouraging environment. I’m a patient and friendly teacher, and I believe learning English should be enjoyable, practical and confidence-building. My classes are personalised to each learner’s level, age and goals. I use simple explanations, conversations, reading activities, phonics, grammar practice, vocabulary building and interactive exercises to keep lessons engaging. I usually begin by understanding the learner’s current level and goals, then structure lessons around the areas they need most support with. I encourage learners to participate, ask questions and practise English without fear of making mistakes. Whether you want to improve your speaking, reading, writing, grammar or overall confidence in English, I’ll be happy to support you. I look forward to meeting you in class!
