It is with great enthusiasm that I share with you my academic journey. With a degree in History, I embarked on a remarkable academic adventure that took me to the prestigious halls of the Sorbonne University in Paris to complete my Master's in Heritage Management under the European Union's Erasmus Mundus programme. I immersed myself in the complex world of heritage conservation, management and promotion during my time at the Sorbonne University in Paris. The programme's international perspective and interdisciplinary approach gave me a broad understanding of the challenges and opportunities inherent in the preservation of our cultural heritage for future generations. I pursued my passion by obtaining a PhD in History, building on this invaluable experience. This allowed me to specialise in areas of historical research including Empires and Colonialism. My areas of specialisation are the management of the tangible and intangible cultural heritage, the contemporary history and the contemporary Portuguese Empire. I also teach Portuguese language and culture to foreign students. With me, you'll explore the richness of the past in a relaxed, fast and, above all, professional way!
