About me

Hi there! My name is Alexandra-Claire and I am a Canadian-Greek English tutor living in the Netherlands. Alongside music, knitting, and cats, languages are my passion. Sharing this passion with others and encouraging them to discover their own relationship with their target language has been the most meaningful calling for the past 12 years, and one I hope to continue exploring. I have been teaching English for the past 12 years, both as a freelancer and as part of a learning institution. My most recent experience has been working with students aiming at obtaining Cambridge Certificates of English, English for academic purposes, and English for professionals. My teaching philosophy centres around the premise that learning should be fun. Through encouraging a creative, interactive and engaging environment, students are motivated to explore their own individual relationships with their target language, allowing them to become confident speakers. I'm looking forward to meeting you and discussing your linguistic goals and aspirations. It would be my honour to help you achieve them!
