Hello! I'm Sandra, a certified Russian teacher with a Linguistics degree and 6 years of experience in teaching languages (2 years specializing in teaching Russian). What does a lesson look like? A comfortable and engaging mix of structure and fun: We might tackle a grammar rule and then immediately practice it by discussing your favorite movie. Or we could cook a Russian dish together; take fun tests; try origami (why not?), or discuss cultural differences - all in Russian. Forget the stress of finding materials - I provide everything. A personal note on my teaching style: I create a space where you can feel safe to make mistakes and experiment. My approach is communicative, which means we learn grammar by using it in real conversations from the very first lesson. My enthusiasm often leads me to create unique learning materials. Once my student struggled to find interesting reading of his level, I started writing stories for him, which was so successful that I am now creating a proper book for beginners! With my wide range of hobbies—from photography and crafts to exploring Instagram Reels—we will always find engaging topics that make you want to speak.
