About me

I have been teaching classes from elementary Spanish to Spanish for heritage speakers. When I teach Spanish, I have the ability to adapt my methods and content of my classes to the different class environments. I enjoy teaching the Spanish language along with culture and history. I also help my students make connections between the Hispanic culture, their own cultural heritage and especially their own context. I have the ability to teach intermediate and advanced level oral proficiency courses. I taught an intermediate-level conversation class several times. Students discussed topics related to college, daily life, the work place, etc. Students converse on a wide variety of subjects at a general level.
