My name is Agustín, I am a professional drummer and percussionist with more than 15 years of experience as a professional musician and more than 10 years of experience as a teacher at all student levels. I have a triple bachelor's degree in Classical Percussion, Psychology and Music Therapy from the State University of New York, Fredonia, NY where I had the opportunity to study with incredible musicians from different backgrounds. In June of 2020 I finished a Master in Drums and Jazz from the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht, in Utrecht Holland where I obtained a Masters of Music degree studying with incredible European and Dutch jazz musicians and educators. I have been fortunate to study with some of the world's foremost drummers and percussionists including Shawn Pelton, drummer for Bruce Springsteen, Kelly Clarkson, Sheryl Crow, as well as noted percussionists in classical percussion such as Kay Stonefelt, and Eric Shin. Through my classes, students can learn technique, reading, musicality, coordination, and the necessary tools to carry out enriching work in musical projects. Classes are held weekly with one hour per week class in which the student attends my studio at ñuñoa, Santiago or online via zoom. The studio is prepared with every tool, instrument, and book necessary to carry out an educational and forceful work for the needs of each student.
