Básicamente, en principio hacer una breve entrevista y bosquejo con el alumno, sobre la particularidad de la problemática que presenta con la materia. Revisar la base previa de conocimientos que el alumno posee y cotejarlo con el contenido de la materia en si, sobre la cual el alumno consulta y comenzar a trabajar la clase en si. Comenzar con ejercicios o contenidos en los que esté esté trabajando en la actualidad y comenzar revisando específicamente cuales son los puntos donde este presenta deficiencias y comenzar a trabajar para tratar de aclararle las dudas, las que podrían ser puntuales o requerir de conocimientos previos que el alumno que sean necesarios, para actualizarlos y despejarlos, y seguir en esa idea, hasta poder continuar con el contenido del problema original de esa manera trabajaren las posteriores clases, siempre tratar de ir solventando en el desarrollo de las clases, de temas anteriores o conexos, que sean necesarios para el buen entendimiento de la materia.
