I have been teaching math and science for three years, and have worked in Lesotho, London, Canada,South Africa, California and the United States. I have also created curricula and lectures for a web development company that provides educational services based in South Africa, making me well-versed in the latest trends and technologies in online learning. With a passion for teaching and a wealth of experience in the field, I believe I am uniquely qualified to help students of all levels understand complex concepts due to my ability to break down these concepts into simple, easy-to-understand steps is a key strength. I am able to explain even the most difficult concepts in a way that students can grasp, and I always make sure to check for understanding before moving on to the next concept. I also have a talent for keeping students engaged and interested in the material, using humor and personal anecdotes to bring the lessons to life. When it comes to teaching, I am always open to new ideas and approaches. I love to experiment with different methods and technologies in order to find the most effective way to reach each student. I understand that every student is different, and I tailor my lessons accordingly. Whether it's a visual learner who needs plenty of pictures and diagrams, or an auditory learner who needs to hear the information repeated aloud, I am always willing to adapt my teaching style to meet the needs of my students. Not only am I knowledgeable about their subject matter, but I am also an excellent role model for my students. I demonstrate a strong work ethic, a passion for learning, and a commitment to helping others. I encourage my students to strive for excellence. Having completed my degree in Bachelor of Arts, I had the greater privilege to found my own tutoring program.
