She is knowledgeable in the content area and ensures that her students are engaged and that the material is relevant and meaningful. Virginia strengthens where needed by correcting, reinforcing, and reteaching if necessary. She takes full advantage of her instructional time and encourages her students to succeed. Her lessons are well-varied and include plenty of visual supports and up-to-date topics. Her devotion and love for teaching stirs others to grow, improve, and to continue perfecting their language skills. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to learn Spanish or who desires to develop fluency and accuracy.

Virginia es una gran profesora. El castellano es mi segundo idioma. Hemos trabajado juntos los últimos seis meses y me ha ayudado mucho mejorar el nivel de conversación y de gramática.

Virginia tiene mucha paciencia! Para todo el mundo! Tambien manejó a los estudiantes más débiles de la clase. Virginia es siempre muy amable. Yo veo ella le encanta enseñar! :) Echo de menos a mi profesora Virginia. Ojalá es posible para mi que sigo aprendiendo con ella otra vez.

Virginia has really helped me a lot with my Spanish learning. She is really friendly and patient, which is really important for me. If you find the Andalusian accent difficult to understand, Virginia is happy to speak in a neutral accent, which makes things much easier for me. I would definitely recommend her 100%.

He quedado con Virginia unas veces cuando estaba en Hexham este verano. Era un intercambio de conversacion para mejorar mi espanol y su ingles. Virginia es una persona muy simpatica y inteligente y tiene el conocimientos de todos tipos de temas. Creo que tiene la personalidad y capacidad ser una profesora muy effectiva porque me disfrute mucho y creo que ella me ha ayudado aprender mucho.

Virginia is an excellent teacher. She is kind and patient and my Spanish is improving more quickly than I ever imagined. I thoroughly recommend her you won't be disappointed.
