Hola! My name is Juan José and I hope to be your future Spanish teacher. I am a native Spanish speaker, born in Colombia and currently living in the city of Medellin. It is often said that Colombian Spanish is some of the easiest Spanish in the world to understand, making it a great place to learn and practice. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and literature and have over two years of experience as a Spanish teacher. During this time, I have worked in academies such as the world-renowned Toucan Spanish School and also as a freelance teacher. I teach all levels of Spanish, from basic to advanced for both children and adults. I love helping my students meet and exceed all of their Spanish language goals. I have a formative and constructive approach to teaching Spanish and make sure that all of my classes are individually tailored to each of my student’s abilities and learning styles. You will learn Spanish in a comprehensive way, working on grammar, writing, reading, listening and also importantly, conversation.
