Hello. I am Des’Ree Sabatha, I am a self-motivated professional teacher who brings over 3 years of postgraduate teaching experience with versatility to adopt into any organisation within the education sector. I have a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Namibia. Further to this, I recently completed my master's degree in education majoring in Curriculum studies at the University of Johannesburg (South Africa) and I am currently waiting for my results. My teaching philosophy is to create a friendly student-centred environment where students learn through fun, doing activities, active participation and confidence. My teaching style empowers students to realise their potential by providing support, feedback and guidance to achieve all learning outcomes. Conversational English -Speaking English is one of the most fun parts of learning English! I believe in order to speak well and be fluent in English, one must just speak!!!! In conversation classes, we will focus on vocabulary and discuss various topics that are of interest to the student. Various topics will be discussed from fashion, entertainment, sports, music, science, news among others!!Attention will be paid to pronunciation, and correct sentence structure! I have a teaching degree in business studies. I taught students how to start business and be successful business owners at secondary school. During my lessons students will learn vocabulary and phrases used in business and professional setting, delivering presentations, giving opinions, and topics related to the cooperate culture. Business English- Having lessons with me will improve your overall English language ability, while targeting areas that will help achieve your goals at work. This could be anything from starting your career path, looking for a promotion or simply feeling confident in your role. English for Travelling- Do you need help improving your communication skills before traveling abroad? Hop in!!! Let's learn, explore and enjoy traveling and making friends abroad without the fear of being unable to communicate in English. Students will practice building words, sentences and vocabulary related to traveling. I help students build confidence in all phrases and vocabulary related to traveling. I know how daunting and stressful it is to learn a new language but do not worry I am here to help you learn and master English.
