Hello! My name is Cheryl Belalo, and I proudly hail from the Philippines. As an ESL teacher, I find immense joy and engagement in my profession. Boasting over four years of experience in online English instruction, I have also ventured into applied programming with a certificate and am on the path to earning a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. I am a holder of a TEFL certificate and have attained a C2 Proficient level in the EF SET English test. Teaching is more than a job for me; it's a calling. I am known for my dynamic energy, patience, and commitment, always striving to inspire students at all proficiency levels to excel in English. My teaching portfolio includes both novices and advanced learners. Outside the classroom, I indulge in English literature, cinema, and the joys of travel. My reputation for flexibility, warmth, and accessibility precedes me, and I have a rich history of educating both youngsters and adults, which equips me to customize my teaching approach with finesse. I take great pride in imparting my knowledge and life lessons to my pupils. With over 32,500 lessons under my belt, I have guided more than 3,000 students, enriching the linguistic journey of Chinese, Turkish, Korean, and Vietnamese learners. My classes are designed to cater to the distinct needs of my students, ensuring they are enlightening, engaging, and fun. My expertise encompasses grammar, phonics, vocabulary, and reading, along with general and business English. I also conduct free-talk sessions to enhance conversational skills across various subjects.
