He trabajado apoyando a alumnos de la ESO a quiénes se les hacía complicado llevar las asignaturas al día. Mis especialidades son las ciencias y la tecnología: las matemáticas, la física, la química, la programación, etcétera. En general, ayudo a mis alumnos a hacer los deberes o a entender lo que han dado en clase. Cuándo detecto que algún concepto no se tiene bien consolidado, me pongo manos a la obra y busco la forma de que el estudiante entienda lo que tiene delante. Si no se tienen deberes, me gusta plantear acertijos matemático-lógicos que ayudan a desarrollar el pensamiento abstracto del aprendiz y resolverlos. Mi principal preocupación es y será que mis estudiantes entiendan la asignatura profundamente. Sólo entonces, tanto ellos como yo podremos tener la seguridad de que no va a haber nada que les dé miedo. Sólo entonces, nos sentiremos cómodos con nuestro conocimiento seguro y consolidado. Ése es el perfil que quiero dar a mis estudiantes: gente que comprende tan bien los conceptos, que son capaces de entender y dar solución a cualquier problema. Siempre he creído que el conocimiento crece como un árbol. Es cierto, nos importa la calidad del fruto, pero, nuestro foco debe estar en que el suelo esté rebosante de nutrientes y en ir regando pacientemente. Entonces el fruto estará asegurado. Dispongo de material didáctico y uso software de dibujo a modo de pizarra. Me gusta guardar todo lo que voy escribiendo en la pizarra para poder facilitárselo al estudiante en caso de ser necesario. Espero que tengan ganas de hacer fácil lo difícil conmigo!
