Hello everyone! I'm Chloe Clarke, a game designer with a BSc (Hons) in Computer Gaming Technology and more than 6 years of experience creating games in Unity and 4 years of experience tutoring. I offer lessons to students at all levels of knowledge. From those who are new to Unity and coding, to graduates preparing for their finals and job interviews, all the way to students ready to publish their first game, whether that be on PC, Mobile, web, or even VR and AR. I teach many aspects of game design, like: - Coding (C#) - Game Design Documenting and design graphs - Basic 3D modeling and animation (Blender) - Basic 2D animation (Krita) - Bug testing (Jira) - Version Control (GitHub) - Publishing (Play Store) - Online services (Ads, multiplayer, accounts, cloud saves) Lesson plan: For lessons, I can either help debug and improve an existing game or help prepare it for publishing, or, for students who are new to Unity, we can create a game from scratch to help learn the basics of Unity and C#, for this I offer an array of PowerPoints, exercises and tests to help with retaining knowledge and understanding. La programación y el desarrollo de aplicaciones informáticas no es solo aprender un lenguaje de programación, sino que se trata de saber cómo resolver problemas y codificar una solución eficiente. Y de eso tratan mis clases: si quieres aprender un lenguaje de programación, cualquier manual de programación te dirá cómo utilizar su sintaxis, de la misma forma que un libro de gramática te enseña las reglas sintácticas y gramaticales de un idioma, pero hace falta algo más para escribir un libro. Si quieres aprender cómo resolver problemas y cómo aprovechar al máximo las posibilidades de cada lenguaje de programación, ésta es tu clase. Te guiaré para que comprendas que hay detrás de cada solución y cómo llegar a ella, para que así tengas la capacidad de resolver en el futuro nuevos problemas por ti mismo. Además de la sintaxis de los lenguajes de programación (C#, C/C++, Java, Python, Haskell, Prolog, SQL), también aprenderás diferentes paradigmas de programación, qué son las estructuras de datos y cómo utilizarlos, cómo evaluar la eficiencia de un código y nociones de algorítmica muy útiles para desarrollar soluciones eficientes. De esta forma, mientras aprendes o mejoras tu conocimiento en un lenguaje de programación, aprendes técnicas de programación que te serán útiles cuando tengas que utilizar o aprender otros. No solo son clases de un lenguaje de programación, sino clases de cómo programar eficientemente para resolver problemas.
