Hello, my name is Maryann, an English tutor who loves creating a positive, relaxed space where students feel comfortable learning and expressing themselves. I’m currently studying for my Bachelor’s degree in English, and I also hold a TEFL certificate, which trained me to teach English to learners from all backgrounds and levels.
I’ve taught as a private tutor at Bright Minds Academy, where I worked with students one-on-one to help them improve their speaking, grammar, writing, and confidence. I also took part in a nematology workshop, helping train participants and explain complex ideas in a simple and friendly way. These experiences taught me how to be patient, adaptable, and clear—skills I bring into every lesson.
