Me llamo Carol y llevo más de diez años impartiendo clases de inglés y español a niños, adolescentes y adultos en Madrid, tanto en centros de idiomas como a nivel particular. Me he formado a nivel autodidacta y en diversos cursos y estancias en Inglaterra, Irlanda y EEUU. Mi nivel actual acreditado es C2 (CPE Proficiency Cambridge). He preparado con éxito a alumnos para las siguientes pruebas y exámenes oficiales: Cambridge (PET, FCE, CAE, CPE), TOEFL, TOEIC y Trinity GESE. Imparto mis clases en el idioma que el alumno desee aprender, valiéndome de recursos interactivos y audiovisuales para sacar mayor provecho y aportar dinamismo y riqueza al aprendizaje. Se trata de clases totalmente personalizadas. Durante la primera toma de contacto valoro el nivel y los puntos débiles y fuertes del alumno, haciéndome también una idea de cuáles son sus intereses (música, libros, películas, etc...). Explotar didácticamente estos intereses es esencial para establecer una conexión directa con el mundo real. El "idioma de libro" ya no es suficiente, aunque una base de gramática y vocabulario es necesaria, y eso también lo encontraréis en mis clases. Lo que yo busco es ir un paso más allá y dar herramientas al alumno para interactuar con un entorno cada vez más interconectado. Por supuesto, esas herramientas le servirán para obtener resultados académicos satisfactorios también. Para mí es muy importante que el estudiante se sienta cómodo y que desde el minuto uno pueda ver el aprendizaje de idiomas como una herramienta para conseguir los objetivos que se propone y no como un enemigo o como algo que debe asimilar por simple obligación. Mi método podría resumirse en fijación de objetivos concretos, desarrollo dinámico de la clase basándome en las capacidades e intereses del alumno, explotación de recursos interactivos para establecer contacto con el mundo real y búsqueda de efectividad.
