Hello! I’m Dr. Debasis Ghosh, an Associate Professor and Marketing professional with over 22 years of combined academic and industry experience, including more than 16 years in management education. I hold a Ph.D. in Marketing from NIT Durgapur and have taught BBA, MBA and doctoral-level students across leading institutions. What makes my classes different is that I don’t believe Marketing should be learned only from textbooks. My academic experience is complemented by industry experience with organisations including HCL Technologies, Wipro, IndiaMART and Lara Global, where I worked in technical support, client relationships, institutional sales, marketing, branding and customer relationship management. So, in my classes, we connect Marketing theory with the real business world. We can analyse brands, advertisements, consumer behaviour, digital campaigns, sales strategies, customer experiences and contemporary business situations to understand not just what a concept means, but how and why it works. I teach Marketing Management, Consumer Behaviour, Brand Management, Digital Marketing, Advertising, Sales & Distribution, Services Marketing, Customer Relationship Management, Marketing Research and Research Methodology. I also teach practical research tools and techniques including SPSS, AMOS, Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) and AI applications in Marketing. I personalise my classes according to each student's goals. Whether you need help understanding a subject, preparing for examinations, completing assignments and projects, developing presentations, conducting marketing research, analysing data or working on a dissertation or Ph.D. research, we can structure the sessions around your specific requirements. My teaching style is friendly, interactive, practical and discussion-oriented. I encourage students to ask questions, challenge ideas and apply concepts rather than simply memorising them. I welcome BBA and MBA students, management learners, researchers, Ph.D. scholars and professionals who want to develop stronger Marketing and research skills. I have supervised Ph.D. scholars and postgraduate research projects, and my research interests include Consumer Behaviour, Brand Management, Digital Marketing, Marketing Analytics, AI in Marketing, Healthcare Marketing, E-Commerce and Sustainable Marketing.
