Hello! I am Judith, a passionate Phonics and Early Reading teacher from Nigeria, and I absolutely love helping little ones discover the magic of reading and writing.

What makes me different from other teachers?
I specialize in Phonics and early literacy, and I have years of both private tutoring and classroom experience in the Early Years. I have worked with children from age 3 to 10, from complete beginners who didn't know their ABCs to struggling readers who needed extra love and support. I understand that every child learns differently. Some children learn fast, some need more time, some learn by singing, some by playing. I am here for all of them.
I am that friendly teacher who celebrates every small win, from sounding out the first letter to reading a full sentence. I make children feel safe, confident, and proud of themselves. That trust is what makes them learn faster.
How do I organize my classes?
My classes are very structured but also very fun and interactive. I believe children learn best when they are having fun.
I use the proven synthetic phonics method — sounds, blending, segmenting. Every lesson includes:
1. Sound recognition and pronunciation
2. Blending practice to read words
3. Reading short stories and sentences
4. Writing, spelling, and handwriting
5. Fun games, songs, flashcards, and phonics activities to keep them engaged.
I always start with a quick review of what we learned last time, then introduce new sounds in a simple way. We practice together, we read together, and we write together. I give gentle corrections and lots of encouragement. After each class, I send you clear feedback on what your child learned and simple activities to practice at home.
My goal is not just to teach your child to read words, but to help them understand what they read, spell correctly, write neatly, and speak with clear pronunciation. I am here to build a strong foundation that will help them excel in school and for life.
