Laura
I am a certified educator with 12 years of public school teaching experience teaching mathematics, science, and English to students in Grades 1–9. My mission is simple: help students build confidence through learning.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, a Master's degree in Educational Administration, a Bachelor's degree in Human Biology, and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. This diverse background enables me to explain challenging concepts clearly and adapt instruction to each student's needs.
Rather than focusing only on homework or test scores, I work to develop understanding, critical thinking, and independent learning skills that last beyond the classroom. Sessions are personalized, encouraging, and structured so students leave each lesson feeling more capable than when they arrived.
Whether a student needs academic support, enrichment, homework assistance, or help preparing for exams, I strive to create a positive environment where curiosity grows, frustration decreases, and confidence flourishes.
Teaching Philosophy: Confidence isn't something students are born with—it's something they build through understanding, practice, and encouragement.
