Hello there! I'm Marina, currently living in Guiyang. I grew up amidst the mountains and rivers of Guizhou. After graduating with a bachelor's degree, I lived in Qufu, the hometown of Confucius, for half a year. This experience allowed me to be immersed in both the vibrant and lively multi-ethnic culture of Guizhou and the profound and enduring Confucian culture, deeply appreciating the charm of the symbiosis between language and culture.
I love teaching Chinese and have had the pleasure of meeting many excellent students. Quite a few students even made special trips to visit the cultural attractions in Guizhou and Qufu that I recommended. These cross-cultural exchanges have become precious memories for us. I believe that online teaching can not only help Chinese learners but also allow me to convey the ethnic customs of Guizhou, the Confucian wisdom of Qufu, and the 5,000-year cultural heritage of China to friends around the world. It also inspires me to keep growing on my teaching journey.

📚 My hobbies:
Calligraphy (regular script/running script), visiting historical and cultural sites, exploring delicious food (especially good at Guizhou sour soup fish and Confucius Mansion dishes), traveling, classical literature, collecting folk culture.
My background:
• Regional cultural accumulation: Growing up in Guizhou + living experience in Qufu, deeply immersed in multi-ethnic culture and Confucian culture.
• Professional teaching experience: Background in Chinese language and literature + experience as a volunteer Chinese teacher to foreigners, familiar with the HSK/YCT examination system.
• Cultural communication practice: Participated in the Qufu intangible cultural heritage inheritance project, compiled reading materials for Confucian classics, and combined calligraphy with classical Chinese teaching.
