Hello, my name is Sajan and I’m 20 years old. Growing up I was always fairly good at maths but my teachers weren’t the best and I decided to get a maths tutor for my GCSEs. My tutor was very thorough and attentive. It led to me getting an A* and as I entered sixth form I decided to also become a tutor and adopt the same teaching techniques that were taught to me. I believe students learn best in a one-to-one scenario where they feel comfortable with their tutor and are excited to learn. I have a systematic approach of completing each chapter with a short exam to see how well my students have retained their information and as the students get closer to their final exam, I introduce past papers to give them that experience. I follow the exam boards notes in my teachings and use modern teaching methods that worked for me five years prior, when I sat my own exams. Homework is essential to the way I teach and I ensure that it is simple and effective. Breaking down questions so students do 2 questions of a topic a day over the course of a week means they’re more likely to retain it than if they completed it all in a day. Finally, despite my young age I have plenty of experience in tutoring (4 years) and have led many students to get As and A*s in their GCSEs.

Bonjour, J'exerce le métier de professeur particulier depuis maintenant 8 ans. J'ai travaillé auprès d'association mais aussi auprès de structures privées tel que Acadomia ou Complétude pendant 4 ans et j'enseigne uniquement en langue française. J'ai accompagné des élèves en difficultés mais aussi des élèves qui souhaitaient avoir d'excellente notes. J'ai essentiellement travaillé avec des élève du lycée et des élèves de la classe de 3ème. Je suis pédagogue, patient et surtout je prends le temps de créer un lien avec l'ensemble de mes élèves, ce que je considère comme étant essentiel pour pouvoir transmettre correctement. Avant de commencer à transmettre, je commence toujours par essayer d'identifier les difficultés que rencontre mon élève s'il y en a. Ensuite nous construisons ensemble la meilleur manière de transmettre. Il faut savoir que tous les élèves sont différents et apprennent de différentes façon. L'objectif des premiers rendez-vous c'est de définir quelle est la méthodologie adaptée à chacun de mes élèves. Depuis 8 ans maintenant que je fais ce travail j'ai accompagné individuellement plus de 30 élèves, ayant des besoins complètement différent les uns des autres, dont certains qui étaient en décrochage scolaire. Hola! Me encantaría que poder contarte lo lindo que es entender la matemática y no solo repetir lo que nos dice el profesor, ya que si no lo olvidas y no es útil. Aprender a repetir no es aprender, aprender a pensar y poder entender que pasa detrás de cada cuenta es lo importante. Durante las clases usaremos la lógica, el pensamiento lateral y los contenidos fluirán naturalmente. La matemática no es tan aburrida como te dijeron. Anímate a darle un segunda oportunidad y veras como todo tiene sentido.

My lessons are firstly revolving around challenges sourced from the client. I enthusiastically explain why processes are done relevant to any issues you experience. My expertise is the GCSE syllabus, sharing for the most part how to be efficient when approaching a problem, and most importantly, the mindset of applying what you do know to a question first to enable credit for correct methods of approach. This can be examples of openly discussable tasks in the workplace or school or for further online qualifications. Rest assured; tasks resources and starter quizzes and Assessments can be openly provided by both parties to comply with consistent exam boards/regulations etc. Nevertheless, we know that the maths needed to be done. doesn't change ;) For KS3 students, it should be no secret that online sample assessemt providers and examiners annotations provide step by step guides of the minimum required content to get marks. Any teacher who allowed peer assessments won't explicitly show that before year 10; the meaning of every exam code that every question categorises against. I plan to help you save time and sharpen skills to limit incredditable writing I was used to doing, especially on hard questions! I am open to settle schedules at convenient times for all of us involved so that no one is discouraged to commit. This also includes My journal's available times as shown on my profile. Lastly, I am willing to provide a comfortable working environment as long as there are students/clients willing to do the same.
