Hello! I'm Christina. I come from Cyprus and have studied at the National and Kapodistrias University of Athens (Philosophy, Pedagogy, Psychology) and at the Higher Drama School of the National Theatre. I have been teaching Greek and Drama since 2010 in both Public and Private Schools. My teaching method is personalized and adapted according to the needs of each student and aims to cultivate the student's ability to communicate in the Greek language, to understand the spoken and written language and to be able to express themself verbally through Greek language.

Hello, I'm Elena Maragkou. I have a degree in History and Archeology from the University of Thessaly. I have 3 years experience in teaching Greek and English and I have experience in private lessons. I would like to organize my classes according to the objectives of each student and I'll be happy to help you learn that language. English is a language that a lot of people use and it would be great to communicate with people in English. Also Greek is an interesting language and it would be great if more people were able to speak Greek.

Γεια σας! My name is Petros! I am a graduate of the Department of History and Archaeology of the University of Crete. I did my master's degree in Ottoman history at the same university in cooperation with the Institute of Mediterranean Studies and in 2023 I completed my PhD thesis at the same institutions. I am also a licensed tour guide in historical and archaeological sites in Greece. Also in 2022 I completed the "Seminar in Teaching Greek as a second/foreign language: Theory and Practice" at the University of the Aegean. I have a lot of experience in foreign languages, as I have dealt with several in the past years. English (C2), Turkish (C1), French (B2), German (B1) and Ottoman Turkish! I have experience of teaching Greek to immigrants. I try to adapt the lessons according to the level of the students. Our lessons will include knowledge of music, cinema, food and other aspects of Greek culture. As I am also familiar with the Turkish language I can explain similarities between the two languages in terms of vocabulary as many Greek words come from the Turkish language. Prefer my course and you won't miss out. This is a course where you will learn the language and have fun!

Preparing unique lessons based on students' needs and yearnings is my priority. We can choose material from a wide variety of textbooks and articles. Also, we will do exercises with pictures and flashcards, audio files like parts of broadcasts, movies, and last but not least we will practice speaking. You can choose which area needs to be strengthened. For example, we can emphasize extending vocabulary or improving grammar, or both. I have experience with students who start from zero as much as with advanced students.
