Hi everyone! My name is Efi, and I am a native Greek tutor. My courses are very beginner-friendly, and I also focus a lot on having fun while learning! The most common plan I use is a 3 hours a week plan that is consisting of 2 lessons of 1.30 hours each. If you choose this it is possible for you to reach B1 level in Greek in 6 months! Another plan I use is the intensive courses. These consist of 10-20 hours per week! These are suggested if you have more time to give to your Greek learning and by choosing these you could even reach B1 level in one month! If you have any questions I’d be more than happy to answer!

Γεια σας! My name is Petros! I am a graduate of the Department of History and Archaeology of the University of Crete. I did my master's degree in Ottoman history at the same university in cooperation with the Institute of Mediterranean Studies and in 2023 I completed my PhD thesis at the same institutions. I am also a licensed tour guide in historical and archaeological sites in Greece. Also in 2022 I completed the "Seminar in Teaching Greek as a second/foreign language: Theory and Practice" at the University of the Aegean. I have a lot of experience in foreign languages, as I have dealt with several in the past years. English (C2), Turkish (C1), French (B2), German (B1) and Ottoman Turkish! I have experience of teaching Greek to immigrants. I try to adapt the lessons according to the level of the students. Our lessons will include knowledge of music, cinema, food and other aspects of Greek culture. As I am also familiar with the Turkish language I can explain similarities between the two languages in terms of vocabulary as many Greek words come from the Turkish language. Prefer my course and you won't miss out. This is a course where you will learn the language and have fun!
