Aleksandar
Hello! I’m Aleksandar, a psychology professional and tutor specialising in statistics, psychometrics, research methodology, and graduation thesis support. I know that these subjects are often seen as the hardest part of a psychology degree, but they become much easier once the logic behind them is explained clearly.
My academic interests have always been focused on quantitative methods and psychological measurement. I earned an A in methodology—the first such grade at my faculty in five generations—and I have experience tutoring psychometrics, conducting empirical research, and presenting research at a student scientific conference. This background allows me to combine strong theoretical knowledge with practical research experience.
My classes are organised around your individual goals. We can start from the basics, prepare for an exam, review difficult material, solve statistical problems, interpret software output, or work through a specific research project. I explain concepts step by step, use examples from psychology, and regularly check that you understand not only what to do, but also why you are doing it.
I can help you with descriptive and inferential statistics, hypothesis testing, correlation, regression, t-tests, ANOVA, sampling, research designs, operationalisation of variables, reliability, validity, item analysis, test construction, and interpretation of statistical results. I can also support you in using statistical programs such as SPSS, JASP, or jamovi.
For students working on a graduation thesis, I provide consultation with topic selection, research questions, hypotheses, methodology, sampling, selection of statistical analyses, interpretation of findings, and preparation for the thesis defence. My role is to guide you, explain the process, and help you improve your own work. I do not write theses, complete graded assignments, or take tests on behalf of students.
I also help candidates prepare for psychometric assessments used in recruitment and job selection. We can practise numerical, verbal, logical, and abstract reasoning, identify weaker areas, improve speed and accuracy, and develop an effective test-taking strategy.
My teaching style is calm, structured, and practical. You are always encouraged to ask questions, even when a topic seems basic or confusing. Lessons are adapted to your level, pace, and learning objectives.
Whether you want to pass a difficult exam, understand statistics with confidence, improve your research project, or prepare for an employment assessment, we will create a clear plan and work toward measurable progress.
Before our first lesson, you can send me your syllabus, materials, or questions so I can prepare a focused and efficient session together.
