Hi, I’m Yolanda, an environmental science graduate. Since graduating from the University of York in 2015, I have completed a number of marine and environmental contracts. These have included working as a marine biologist, working as a senior wildlife officer for a whale and dolphin conservation charity, and working for a natural history museum. My work has taken me to various different locations including New Zealand, Bethlehem, and a marine station in the Atlantic. I have experience in a range of areas such as ecological surveys, animal rehabilitation and release, and environmental education.
I achieved an A grade in my biology A-level, and further improved my knowledge of biology through my degree, master’s, and career. I have experience of teaching biology, particularly marine biology, through various environmental contracts. I believe that the key to succeeding in any subject is to understand the concepts involved rather than simply memorising facts. I love biology, and look forward to helping you with your studies.
