Hello! My name is Yifei Zhou, but you can call me Efy 🤗. I’m 26 years old and hold a Master’s degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages from Sun Yat-sen University, one of China’s top universities. I have a solid foundation in Chinese language teaching and use a variety of methods in my lessons. I worked as a Chinese teacher for one year at the Confucius Institute in Mexico, mainly teaching beginner-level Chinese to university students and adults. In my classes, you can start from scratch—learning pinyin, understanding how characters are formed, and gradually building up to basic conversations. If you already have some Chinese knowledge, I can also create an immersive environment to help you take your skills to the next level 😝. My teaching style is relaxed and fun. I won’t just teach you the language, but also show you a different side of China 🥳. I love traveling ✈️ and I truly respect and enjoy different cultures. I’ve been to many places in China and around the world, such as Shanghai, Guangzhou, Xi’an, Yunnan, Tokyo, Rome, and Paris. I’m passionate about teaching Chinese and good at creating a classroom full of exploration and interaction.
