Hello, my name Yamkela. I am from Johannesburg in South Africa and I am 30 years of age. My interests in wanting to pursue this career are because I have a tremendous desire to educate and influence people, whether they are youngsters or adults, for the better. I believe that enhancing a student's life is one of the main satisfactions of teaching. This is a meaningful and fulfilling way to spend a workday. I am completely prepared to provide the patience, understanding, compassion, and sensitivity that are necessary for this career. My academic, volunteer, and professional experiences have all created a strong sense of personal drive in me and helped me develop into an independent, resourceful, and diligent person. During my honours year, I carried a full course load while working part-time and I kept my grade average at a B. Because of my experiences, I've learned a great deal about discipline and time management, two skills that are crucial in the teaching profession. My ability to prioritize tasks has improved greatly as a result of juggling a variety of responsibilities in my personal, professional, and familial lives. As a member of a student psychology honours group, I had the chance to participate in a full year of field experience during my fourth year as a student psychologist and psychometric assessor at University of Fort Hare/Khayalethu Special School in East London. Planning, evaluating, and executing engaging courses for a class with a range of needs was my responsibility. I am able to modify my teaching strategies to meet the needs of each individual student. Another ability that is essential to becoming a successful teacher is problem solving. Experience has taught me that there are usually multiple approaches to an issue. I will speak with experts in the subject to acquire fresh perspectives and consult current research if I am unable to resolve a problem utilizing my own resources. I think I have determination and understanding that I can share with my students. I would contribute to the teaching platform and, ultimately, the field. I am confident that I can enable each of my students to realize their full potential.
