Hello! Konnichiwa! I'm Sudipa Bhattacharya, an avid reader, polyglot and language educator. My journey with the Japanese language began about three years ago, and I've since achieved the JLPT N3 certification. I possess a deep enthusiasm for teaching and have obtained certification as a Japanese language educator through a comprehensive teachers' training course conducted jointly by the Ministry of External Affairs of India and the Embassy of Japan in India. In addition to my training, I have experience working as a private JLPT trainer, where I assisted students in their preparation for the N5 level examination and continue to do so. I also teach Japanese to absolute beginners, so if you want to learn Japanese from scratch, you're at the right place! Currently I'm teaching Japanese up to the early intermediate level. Apart from being a language nerd, I'm also deeply interested in Japanese literature and culture. Some authors whose works I truly cherish are Natsume Soseki, Keigo Higashino, Sayaka Murata, & Yoko Ogawa. I love interacting with native Japanese speakers and actively participate in the various events organised by the Japan Foundation. Learning Japanese has been no less than an adventure for me, and the experiences I've had throughout these years have strongly influenced my teaching practices. My goal is to help my students truly comprehend and appreciate the essence of the Japanese language, while also allowing them to admire the richness of the Japanese culture. Mi manera de dar clases es amena y se adapta a las necesidades de cada alumno. Tengo la suerte de contar con un amplio abanico de recursos docentes que he ido adquiriendo en los diferentes centros en los que he enseñado. Para mí es fácil ponerme en la piel del alumno, comprender sus dificultades y encontrar una manera fácil para explicar cualquier concepto; siempre con paciencia, buen humor, empatía y vocación. A no ser que se me pida lo contrario, hago mucho hincapié en practicar la conversación en el idioma impartido desde el primer mes, ya que considero que para la mayoría, ser capaz de comunicarse en ese idioma es lo más importante. Me gusta combinar pizarra, fotocopias, pequeños juegos didácticos y otras herramientas para el aprendizaje. ¡Además, incentivo a que el alumno participe lo más activamente posible en la clase y procuro que la hora de clase sea agradable de tal modo que esperen su clase con muchas ganas cada semana! Espero que podamos sacarle partido a ese idioma que nos apasiona o que necesitas aprender para tu vida personal o laboral. He aprendido de muchos profesores que me han motivado y me alegra cada vez que escucho que he motivado también a alguien. ¡Hasta pronto!
