I also have an undergraduate degree in Politics and International Relations and a Master's in Global Political Economy. I offer conversational practice to those seeking build upon the English foundation they already have. I would recommend this to students who have at least B1 level English and above. As someone who is currently learning French, I understand that the best way to learn a language is to speak it as often as possible. Our lessons together will be entirely in English to ensure they are as immersive as possible! I am interested in all sorts of subjects we can discuss during our classes; current affairs, history, sports, psychology, literature, music and anything else you're interested in! I will ensure we branch out from your areas of particular interest, as I know it's sometimes easier to stick to these when learning a language.

Bonjour à tous! Je m'appelle Pete O'Connor, j'ai un diplôme de premier cycle en politique et relations internationales et une maîtrise en économie politique mondiale. Je voudrais offrir la pratique de la conversation à ceux qui veulent s'appuyer sur les bases anglaises qu'ils ont déjà. Je le recommanderais aux étudiants qui ont au moins un niveau d'anglais B1 et supérieur. En tant que personne qui apprend actuellement le français, je comprends que la meilleure façon d'apprendre une langue est de la parler le plus souvent possible. Nos cours ensemble seront entièrement en anglais pour s'assurer qu'ils sont aussi immersifs que possible. Je m'intéresse à toutes sortes de sujets dont nous pouvons discuter pendant nos cours; l'actualité, l'histoire, le sport, la psychologie, la littérature, la musique et tout ce qui vous intéresse ! Je veillerai à ce que nous nous diversifiions de vos domaines d'intérêt particulier, car je sais qu'il est parfois plus facile de s'y tenir lors de l'apprentissage d'une langue.

Peter is a friendly, kind and easygoing person who teaches with patience and is flexible to focus on the skill(s) you need to improve the most. Covering various topics with him has helped me expand my vocabulary, improve pronunciation and (most importantly to me) comprehension with a native speaker. I highly recommend him!

He is a great teacher! The classes with Peter are very enjoyable, we talk about many different topics and he prepares material for exercises, both in grammar and writing as well as pronunciation. He is helping me to improve my English so I will continue to teach with him.
