Hello! I’m Teacher Maureen, a friendly and patient English tutor who loves helping children become confident English speakers. I believe children learn best when they feel comfortable, encouraged, and genuinely interested in what they are learning. That’s why my classes are not about putting pressure on a child to give the “perfect” answer. I create a supportive space where children can make mistakes, try again, ask questions, and gradually become more confident using English. My lessons are adapted to each child’s age, level, personality, and learning goals. We use conversation, stories, pictures, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, and fun activities to make English meaningful and engaging. Most importantly, I give children plenty of opportunities to speak and use English themselves rather than simply listening to the teacher. Whether your child is just starting English or needs more confidence speaking, I will meet them where they are and help them make steady progress, one lesson at a time.
