Hi, I'm Linda!
I’m a certified Chinese teacher with over 3 years of teaching experience and 10 years of business expertise—which means I don’t just teach characters and grammar; I bridge language and real-world skills! 🌉
As someone who’s worked in business environments, I understand how to make Chinese accessible and practical for learners from all backgrounds. Whether you’re starting from scratch, gearing up for the HSK exam, or needing to master business Chinese, I’ve designed my lessons to fit your goals—no one-size-fits-all here!
🎯 What Makes My Classes Special?
I speak VERY STANDARD MANDARIN and specialize in tackling the trickiest parts of Chinese:
Those tricky syllables like e, v, un, vn, er, z/c/s, zh/ch/sh/r
The mysterious 4 tones (yes, they can be mastered! 😊)
For beginners, I’ll help you build right muscle memory from day one—no more confusing "ma" vs. "mā"!
📚 My Teaching Superpower: The "Snowball Method"
I believe learning should feel like rolling a snowball—smooth, logical, and always growing!
Step 1: Connect new knowledge to what you already know (no abrupt jumps!).
Step 2: Reinforce old skills while adding new ones, so everything sticks.
Step 3: Link every lesson to real-life scenarios—because what’s the point of learning if you can’t use it? 🚀
Students say my classes are "easy to follow" and "actually useful in daily life"!

Hello! My name is Amanda. I am a professional Chinese teacher with many years of international teaching experience, and I currently live in France.
I am a certified teacher holding an Advanced International Chinese Teaching Certificate. I taught Chinese to international students for five years at a university in China, and later taught Chinese courses for three years at a university in the United States. Teaching students from different cultural backgrounds has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career, and my classes have always been very well received by students.
My professional path is also quite international. After my teaching experience, I completed a Master’s degree in accounting in the United States and worked at PwC in Boston. I later moved to France and obtained a Master’s degree in Accounting from ESSEC Business School. These experiences gave me a deep interest in cross-cultural communication.
Currently, I am also learning French myself. This experience helps me understand very well what adult language learners really need. 😉 Many traditional textbooks are either too childish or not very engaging for adults, so in my classes I prefer to use materials that are meaningful, interesting, and intellectually stimulating. 😊
In our lessons, I first take some time to understand your level and your goals. Then we design learning materials together based on your interests, including reading materials, videos, and conversation topics that are both interesting and challenging.
My interests are quite broad. I enjoy reading (both fiction and non-fiction), traveling, music, philosophy, history, art, and culture. These topics often become great conversation material in class, helping students improve their Chinese in a relaxed and natural way.
I believe language learning works best when students feel comfortable speaking and making mistakes. Every lesson is adapted to your level and your interests, whether you are a beginner or already have experience learning Chinese.
In addition, my background in accounting and finance allows me to help students who want to improve their Chinese in professional or business contexts. 😊 💼If you are interested in business communication in Chinese, we can design targeted lessons to help you communicate confidently.
I look forward to meeting you and helping you on your Chinese learning journey!

Hello everyone, I'm Angelina Ma, Is Yi people and now living in Shanghai. As a certified senior international Chinese teacher, I firmly believe that language is a bridge across borders.
Over 15 years, I’ve shifted from teaching finance to Chinese, and traveled to over 30 countries—I truly love the clashes of different cultures. My classes are never boring: if you like food, we’ll chat about Yunnan rice noodles and Shanghai soup dumplings during grammar practice; if you’re curious about ethnic cultures, stories of the Dai Water-Splashing Festival might help you remember new words.
I tailor courses to your goals—be it business communication, daily conversations, or cultural exploration—all turned into lively interactions. Here, mistakes are badges of growth, and every attempt to speak deserves encouragement. I look forward to seeing you go from shy试探 (tentative tries) to confident expression, understanding China through the rhythms of Chinese characters, and feeling the warmth of culture in words.
Outside class, I’m always finding new things in life: morning mist over old towns, shouts in markets, the warmth of intangible cultural heritage crafts... These could all be little surprises in our classes.
I’d love to wander with you in the world of Chinese, turning every character into a story and every sentence into strength. Looking forward to meeting you, and making Chinese "fun" in countless wonderful ways.
