Hello everyone, I’m Lily, a Chinese teacher from China. For me, Chinese is not just a tool for communication, but a bridge carrying the warmth of culture, and teaching is the most passionate way for me to pass on this love. So far, I’ve accumulated over 50 hours of teaching experience, with a diverse group of students—international friends from different countries, as well as partners from Hong Kong, China, ranging in age from lively primary school students to adults around 40 years old. When facing different students, I always believe in the power of "teaching students in accordance with their aptitude": when teaching primary school students, I turn Chinese characters into vivid pictures and hide grammar rules in interactive games, letting them feel the fun of Chinese amid laughter; for adult students, I focus more on integrating their life and work scenarios, from daily greetings to workplace communication, ensuring every knowledge point can be applied in real life, truly achieving "learn and use immediately". I particularly enjoy guiding students to explore actively. Many times, students are afraid to speak at first for fear of making mistakes. At such moments, I patiently start with topics they’re interested in—for example, I love watching movies and listening to music in my free time, so I often use lines from classic films or lyrics from popular songs as teaching materials, using familiar cultural symbols to close the distance. Seeing them go from stuttering to confidently sharing opinions, from struggling with pinyin to expressing ideas fluently, the sense of achievement from this growth is the source of my teaching enthusiasm. If you also want to learn Chinese in a relaxed yet professional atmosphere, whether you’re a complete beginner looking to get started or aiming to improve your listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, I’m willing to accompany you step by step to feel the charm of Chinese with my fullest enthusiasm and a method that suits you. Let’s meet in the world of language and grow amid cultural integration!

Hello! My name is Amanda. I am a professional Chinese teacher with many years of international teaching experience, and I currently live in France. I am a certified teacher holding an Advanced International Chinese Teaching Certificate. I taught Chinese to international students for five years at a university in China, and later taught Chinese courses for three years at a university in the United States. Teaching students from different cultural backgrounds has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career, and my classes have always been very well received by students. My professional path is also quite international. After my teaching experience, I completed a Master’s degree in accounting in the United States and worked at PwC in Boston. I later moved to France and obtained a Master’s degree in Accounting from ESSEC Business School. These experiences gave me a deep interest in cross-cultural communication. Currently, I am also learning French myself. This experience helps me understand very well what adult language learners really need. 😉 Many traditional textbooks are either too childish or not very engaging for adults, so in my classes I prefer to use materials that are meaningful, interesting, and intellectually stimulating. 😊 In our lessons, I first take some time to understand your level and your goals. Then we design learning materials together based on your interests, including reading materials, videos, and conversation topics that are both interesting and challenging. My interests are quite broad. I enjoy reading (both fiction and non-fiction), traveling, music, philosophy, history, art, and culture. These topics often become great conversation material in class, helping students improve their Chinese in a relaxed and natural way. I believe language learning works best when students feel comfortable speaking and making mistakes. Every lesson is adapted to your level and your interests, whether you are a beginner or already have experience learning Chinese. In addition, my background in accounting and finance allows me to help students who want to improve their Chinese in professional or business contexts. 😊 💼If you are interested in business communication in Chinese, we can design targeted lessons to help you communicate confidently. I look forward to meeting you and helping you on your Chinese learning journey!

Hello everyone, I'm Angelina Ma, Is Yi people and now living in Shanghai. As a certified senior international Chinese teacher, I firmly believe that language is a bridge across borders. Over 15 years, I’ve shifted from teaching finance to Chinese, and traveled to over 30 countries—I truly love the clashes of different cultures. My classes are never boring: if you like food, we’ll chat about Yunnan rice noodles and Shanghai soup dumplings during grammar practice; if you’re curious about ethnic cultures, stories of the Dai Water-Splashing Festival might help you remember new words. I tailor courses to your goals—be it business communication, daily conversations, or cultural exploration—all turned into lively interactions. Here, mistakes are badges of growth, and every attempt to speak deserves encouragement. I look forward to seeing you go from shy试探 (tentative tries) to confident expression, understanding China through the rhythms of Chinese characters, and feeling the warmth of culture in words. Outside class, I’m always finding new things in life: morning mist over old towns, shouts in markets, the warmth of intangible cultural heritage crafts... These could all be little surprises in our classes. I’d love to wander with you in the world of Chinese, turning every character into a story and every sentence into strength. Looking forward to meeting you, and making Chinese "fun" in countless wonderful ways.
