Hello, I am your Chinese teacher. I come from Jiangxi, which is a beautiful place. During my university years, I passed the English CET-4 and CET-6 exams, and also went to a local impoverished elementary school for a period of teaching. This experience made me understand that learning in impoverished areas is not easy, and I hope to become a helpful person to others.
I have many years of experience in teaching Chinese. In my Chinese classes, I first understand the situation of students, match courses that are suitable for them according to their needs, and make improvements based on their feedback in later teaching. If this student is a child, I will use pictures, physical objects, cartoons, nursery rhymes, and storytelling in the classroom to help them learn more vividly and create a lively and interesting classroom for them. If this student is an adult, I would create a real-life classroom for them by setting up a living situation and using some physical objects, pictures, and videos to experience the application of Chinese in real life.
I am a person who enjoys sharing life, thinking, and laughing, which makes my teaching style more focused on life, inspiring thinking, and being relaxed and joyful. In the classroom, I not only teach students Chinese, but also let them understand the thinking and lifestyle of Chinese people. At the same time, I will also discuss current affairs and hot topics that are suitable for their age group in the classroom, so that teaching and life do not get off track and understand the lives of contemporary Chinese people.

Hello! My name is Amanda. I am a professional Chinese teacher with many years of international teaching experience, and I currently live in France.
I am a certified teacher holding an Advanced International Chinese Teaching Certificate. I taught Chinese to international students for five years at a university in China, and later taught Chinese courses for three years at a university in the United States. Teaching students from different cultural backgrounds has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career, and my classes have always been very well received by students.
My professional path is also quite international. After my teaching experience, I completed a Master’s degree in accounting in the United States and worked at PwC in Boston. I later moved to France and obtained a Master’s degree in Accounting from ESSEC Business School. These experiences gave me a deep interest in cross-cultural communication.
Currently, I am also learning French myself. This experience helps me understand very well what adult language learners really need. 😉 Many traditional textbooks are either too childish or not very engaging for adults, so in my classes I prefer to use materials that are meaningful, interesting, and intellectually stimulating. 😊
In our lessons, I first take some time to understand your level and your goals. Then we design learning materials together based on your interests, including reading materials, videos, and conversation topics that are both interesting and challenging.
My interests are quite broad. I enjoy reading (both fiction and non-fiction), traveling, music, philosophy, history, art, and culture. These topics often become great conversation material in class, helping students improve their Chinese in a relaxed and natural way.
I believe language learning works best when students feel comfortable speaking and making mistakes. Every lesson is adapted to your level and your interests, whether you are a beginner or already have experience learning Chinese.
